Khambree Mo... Aryum Dho? (Hi... Are you fine? I have gift for two of you...get ready...
I have a simple dream to do well in life and be somebody that my guardians and country could be proud of. And this dream has led me to explore further and kindled my interest in learning against odds in my life. Yet my attitude but not my aptitude has given me a hope and possible to see the future light. Let me brief you below who stand behind me...
I was left by my parents at very tender age along with my little brother to grandfather’s care who is now in his late 70’s . I haven’t had the parental love like other fortunate fellow students, yet my positive disposition has got me going thus far.
I have learnt to be a positive person and bear positive perspective of anything. Well,
It would take away the precious time of my fellow reader if i write my history, let me be brief.
Tokchee Thuing(thank you Grandpa) A big Tashi Delek to you, deprived of many comfort you have adjusted yourself in a small way to struggled a lot for my future. Tears keep on dropping when i think of you running tirelessly seeking for my school admission in Chimuna Primary school back in 2003. Furthur more, your love and affection to your helpless grandson was really unimaginable i could speak and write.
I remember you selling Ara, local alcohol and a betle nut(Doma) for my school shopping and pocket money.
You come to pick me home on weekend and back to school on Sunday, though you are old yet you did sacrifice for me, i remember you carrying firewood and school Racine for my belly. Still lot more grandpa to share to you, i will not forget those hardship you have shouldered for my benefits.

Yes due to your help I could complete my class twelve and yet to pursue my higher studies. Thank you Len Tshering my little brother, you could at least stay happily helping grandpa in my absence and i m very sorry i couldn't enroll you to school, you know the situation better than me rite... Yes you are responsible and gentleman little brother i can proudly say. You did the best for my education and i m doing my best for you now, your future is my future don't worry that you are illiterate but you are educated in heart i can proudly say. Thank you brother, my love.As i grow up older yes i did some odd works to partly lift financial burden off my grandfather and brother during breaks. My financial problems have never been detrimental to my learning desire, which still keeps me haunting.
My hardship has taught great life-lesson that there is no short cuts to success and we must strive to do the best. In academics, I have done exceptionally well so far. To my testimony I have a few academic excellence certificates awarded right from The Golden Throne.Even as a young boy, the leadership and social services have always intrigued me. I have always had this dream of pursuing higher education in law, social services, and leadership. Yes my dream was with me, a big thank to my country for the free education and His Majesty for the gift as Gyalpoi Tozey where i could see the light now.
Thank you to my teachers for shaping me, insisting me to discover the undiscovered treasure of my life. A hearty thanks to my friends and their parents who always comfort me and keep motivating. Thank you all... Throughout my school days I was associated heavily with social service clubs. Moreover, I have been involved in many decision-making processes and programs through which I have gained enormous leadership skills by being a student leader. And as a scout member, I had joined various campaign programs therefore, volunteerism has become part of me.
I do make concerted effort to attend any social programs and try to make difference through my services. I am now certainly sure to fill the employment gap in the country once I complete my studies. Due to my interest i am taking management as my course, as it is an integral part of leadership that I am interested in.
However, all these dreams would just remain light without your all wish, help and generous patronage. Therefore, I am highly indebted to my guardian and the sponsors for the support and help realize my dream. I lay my assurance here that I will do my best in furtherance of the overarching of your all wish and help realize the farsighted wish of my parents, country, teachers and my friends through fulfilling my own dream.
Thank you all again.
With love and care
Looking forward to granting the same.
Sincerely yours,
(EndupLepcha)
